It started with wanting to capture everything.

I've always loved art and designing things. As I got more into computers, I started creating logos and graphics for people on forums and experimenting with animation. Eventually, I wanted to take my own photos to use in those designs. Once I started learning about shutter speed and trying long exposures, photography became something I loved on its own.

Looking back, that interest started before I owned a camera. My dad and uncles were always photographing our adventures, and I remember taking photos with my dad's cameras while hiking the Grand Canyon. I also learned to develop film in an advanced art class. Between that, YouTube, and years of practice, I kept finding more I wanted to learn.

My first income came through my YouTube channels and brands reaching out to me. I started contacting other businesses about creating content, and some of those early relationships are still going today. A lot of my work has grown through word of mouth. I've worked with two clients for a decade, and continuing to earn that trust is something I'm really proud of.

These days, my work includes photography and video for brands, hotels, destinations, and local businesses. I'm grateful that my family gets to join me on many of the trips. I want to enjoy those experiences, preserve them, and share something useful, whether that's a place worth visiting or something I've learned about photography.
