We walked uphill through Eureka Springs to the Crescent Hotel, then settled into a balcony table at SkyBar with an extra-large pepperoni pizza. Watching the sunset over dinner made the climb worth it.
Allegiant supported our Arkansas trip. We paid for our meal at SkyBar; this was not a hosted restaurant visit.

We left the car in a parking lot in the lower part of town and walked all the way up to the hotel. It took some effort, and we were a little tired by the time we arrived. But seeing the houses and historic streets along the way was a big part of what I enjoyed. Mardi Gras celebrations were happening in town, which added to the fun of being there.
If you want to make the same kind of outing, allow for the hills rather than judging the walk only by its distance. The town's walking map is useful for choosing a route. We walked from our parking spot, but I would check the route back as well before committing to an evening on foot.
SkyBar is on the fourth floor of the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa, at 75 Prospect Avenue. There is indoor seating as well as a balcony overlooking the town and surrounding hills. SkyBar’s official website has current dining details.

We ordered an extra-large pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious. The service was great, too. After walking uphill, sitting down to a pizza we really enjoyed felt like a good way to finish that part of the day.
Pizza was our choice, but there are also salads, wings, pasta and toasted sandwiches on SkyBar's menu.
Our table was right beside the balcony railing. We arrived around sunset and watched the sun drop while we ate, with a view out over the hills. That combination of dinner, the view and the setting inside an old hotel is what I remember most about SkyBar.
If that is the experience you want, ask about balcony seating when planning your visit. Our table worked out beautifully, but outdoor seating depends on weather and availability.

Yes. The Crescent Hotel’s dining FAQ confirms that its dining venues are open to the public. An overnight reservation is not required for a meal.

I loved exploring the hotel as much as having a reason to eat there. Walking through the building and using the stairs, I kept thinking about its history. It felt cared for without losing the character that made it interesting in the first place.
The Crescent opened in 1886. It has also been restored and altered over the years, including rebuilding parts lost to a 1967 fire. That preservation story is worth reading in the hotel's history and restoration information; its historic atmosphere does not mean every feature is unchanged from opening day.
The hotel also offers ghost tours built around its stories and reputation. If that interests you, look at the hotel's activities and book separately from dinner. A meal does not automatically include a tour or access to guest-only resort facilities.
Check food-service hours as well as the restaurant’s closing time. The kitchen may close earlier. If your group needs step-free access or particular seating, contact the hotel ahead of the visit.
An 18% gratuity is automatically added under SkyBar’s current dining policy, so check your bill before adding another tip.
